Our History

 

With a proven track record in the industry, Jamark is a market leader in the provision of Plumbing & Drainage design, Installation and Maintenance. Established in 2005, as Jamark Plumbing Limited by Mark Hughes, Managing Director.

Having established an enviable reputation for the delivery of quality and cost effective service to a wide range of sectors, we employ a fantastic mix of people including registered plumbers, drainlayers, trades people, apprentices, trades assistants and an administration team, whose skills and commitment have enabled us to build and sustain this reputation.

Focused on being the best we can be in our industry; we continue to successfully undertake significant work throughout the Waikato. We have successfully established a reputation for delivering a wide variety of plumbing and drainage related solutions and services. Members of Master Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers NZ Inc (MPGDNZ) and Hazardco maintaining a safe and healthy workplace is a priority for me personally and for our entire team.

Jamark Plumbing Ltd has successfully moved beyond the role of simply being a service provider; we establish partner relationships with our clients to enable us to move towards a common goal of continual improvement and profitability.

Mark Hughes

Founder & Managing Director

I was born and raised in Hamilton. I started my Plumbing apprenticeship in 1992. After traveling and working abroad on the classic Kiwi OE, I returned to New Zealand in 2005 and established Jamark Plumbing Limited. I saw the need for a quality Waikato Plumbing business focused on both customer service and a high quality of workmanship. We aim to have happy customers who are proud to refer us to their family, friends and neighbours.

Rob Willetts

Business Manager

I joined Jamark in late 2019 after being involved in the business for a number of years in my former role as a commercial Bank Manager. My role is to run the office functions and also look after the Health & Safety requirements, which with a large staff and the ongoing regulatory requirements means that there is a lot to stay on top of. Jamark is great to work for and a refreshing change from a large corporate environment.
